People want to explore their thoughts, feelings and patterns of behavior without fear of judgement or abandonment while gaining the tools to handle the future. Often people want to unclutter their assumptions and better understand others’ intentions and motivations but feel stuck and do not know where to start. We all go through experiences that feel painful, isolating, challenging, and uncomfortable, but any feeling, no matter how long we experience it for, is not permanent. We will always evolve, and our needs and experiences will follow. I believe therapy provides a unique opportunity to bring self-awareness to the relationship with yourself and to your connections with others if you allow yourself to be open to it.
I utilize a holistic and individualistic approach that focuses on the client as a whole person. I am passionate about helping you find patterns in your emotions, thoughts, and beliefs in order to increase insight and awareness into your current self and to help identify important aspects of your character, assisting you in arranging and forming a more functional and positive sense of self.
I am here to listen and lean in softly with a willingness to be moved. I strive to truly see, hear, understand, and accept you as we process through life’s challenges together and reconnect you to your body, mind and emotions. Although therapy is a collaborative process, you are an expert in your own life. As a facilitator of healing and change, I am dedicated to holding space with curiosity and compassion, as we uncover what is impeding on your life.

Life’s challenges can often feel overwhelming. Whether it’s facing a major life transition, grappling with uncertainty about making changes, or being overwhelmed by your emotions, it can be challenging to navigate these situations alone and find a starting point. It may begin to feel like being caught in a never-ending cycle.
By adopting a holistic and integrative framework, I ensure that the treatment I offer is tailored to meet the unique needs and individuality of each client. I deeply understand that every individual brings their own rich life experiences to therapy, and together, we will actively participate in a treatment approach that is impactful.
There is seldom a one-size-fits-all solution, so I strive to create a collaborative alliance with clients, acknowledging and respecting their unique treatment needs and preferences. I place a strong emphasis on creating a genuine therapeutic bond and safe environment that empowers clients to make progress in their pursuit of personal growth and goal achievement.

There is this idea about therapy and counseling that clients must be in extreme circumstances in order to reach out and receive help without judgment. Today, we are seeing a changing culture that is kinder to our mental health needs, but there is often an internal voice that does not want to allow you to seek help. Many clients have experienced a certain level of pressure to deal with things independently, especially in cultures that see emotion and connection as weakness. These internal and external pressures prevent us from treating ourselves with patience and kindness, and can lead to feeling isolated which can worsen feelings of anxiety and depression.
I offer counseling services as a person-centered, holistic therapist who sees therapy as a collaborative relationship. I provide an accepting environment and strive to make clients of every background feel safe and heard. I see clients as unique individuals with their own goals when it comes to the therapeutic process, and together we will work toward those goals in ways that will translate into each individuals’ lives. I believe that you are the expert of your own life and your own experiences, and that my role is to meet you wherever you are in your personal journey. Whether you are looking for connection, a space to heal, coping skills, or understanding your emotions on a deeper level, I am committed to providing you with care that aligns with your values and fosters self acceptance and compassion.

It’s hard to ask for help when you are in pain. It can be especially hard for men who have been taught that suffering in silence is strength. If held tightly, these myths of manhood may leave us feeling isolated, ashamed, and hopeless.
No matter how hard we try to hide our difficulties from others, they tend to show up regardless - at work, at home, and in our relationships. Without guidance, it’s easy to check out, numb out, and get stuck in a cycle of fear, anger, and helplessness. If you’re stuck or feel that life is not going according to plan - I can help.
As a therapist, I create a safe, collaborative space for men to identify and pivot toward the meaningful changes they want to make in their lives. I specialize in mindfulness based techniques to help you develop the awareness and inner wisdom to live the life you deserve. I am honored to walk beside you on the path!

Do you tend to bottle up your feelings? Or avoid uncomfortable emotions, only for the feelings to keep coming back and affecting your mental health and relationships? If you’re overwhelmed by your feelings and find yourself asking, how do I even feel a feeling or how do I make a feeling go away? – you are not alone. Counseling can provide a safe space for you to strengthen your mind-body connection, release pent-up emotions, and discover how to explore and manage your emotional landscape.
I help young adults and LGBTQ+ folks with anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem by facilitating emotional awareness and expression as well as building emotion regulation skills to feel their feelings and live a more authentic and fulfilling life. My method of counseling is centered on each client’s unique needs, experiences, and goals. Working with me you can expect a causal, comfortable, and affirming therapeutic environment with a focus on processing emotions, connecting physical sensations to thoughts and feelings, and building confidence and skills to cope with whatever life may throw at you.
My style is direct and conversational, while also validating and compassionate. I encourage my clients to be vulnerable and I will do the same. If you’re ready to feel your feelings rather than push them away and learn to love and accept yourself, book a free phone consultation to start your personal growth journey!

When experiencing the world differently, you can feel misunderstood and isolated, having difficulty advocating for your needs and forming relationships. It can be exhausting, confusing, and scary when struggling to complete basic tasks like connecting with peers, starting homework or projects, maintaining attention to listen to someone speaking, or even getting yourself dressed in the morning. Being neurodivergent in a neurotypical world can be exhausting and overwhelming and may lead to anxiety, depression, and feelings of isolation. Challenges like these may impact performance functioning in school and work settings by not knowing when or how to respond to a teacher or manager, showing up on time, and contributing to stress and overall mood by overthinking everything that you do.
In a nonjudgmental, empathic, kind approach, I focus on identifying your unique needs and goals, leveraging your strengths and resources to address the challenges you have. With curiosity, I explore histories, relationships, and world views to accommodate each individual experiences and needs. My goal is to help clients feel more empowered and understood. I recognize multicultural identities and as a Jewish person, I also work to support Jewish roles and concerns.
Through establishing trust, normalizing experiences, and active listening, I create a warm, collaborative space that encourages vulnerability where clients feel seen, heard, and understood. With comprehensive training in social-emotional needs, trauma, behavior, and neurodevelopmental disorders in school-based and clinical settings, I’m here to celebrate your unique perspectives, creativity, out-of-the-box thinking, resilience, and ability to persevere in challenging situations. My goal is to help you feel empowered every day.

Sometimes we experience judgment and feeling isolated and ashamed due to our identity or past experiences and the ways we have learned to cope. We might use substances to numb from emotional pain and once able to stop or change our use, we are left wondering what to do with the feelings that remain. Or once we have set boundaries with an unhealthy or abusive partner or family member we have difficulty processing all that happened in that relationship and how it escalated to the point that it did. Or having experienced a traumatic event our worldview completely changes and leaves us wondering if things will ever feel like they did before.
I offer counseling services to support clients in overcoming these challenges in a warm and welcoming environment. I assist clients by talking things through, offering new perspectives, and practicing practical skills that encourage them to have a better understanding of themselves so that they can live a life more aligned with their values. I am committed to helping you let go of shame and fear of judgment from others so that you can feel empowered and more at peace.

Imagine if you had the confidence to show up as your authentic self. Or if your teenage daughter could overcome insecurity to be the person she genuinely wants to be. As women, we have been taught to stifle our confidence, take up less space, and conform to the values and behaviors of those around us. This often leads us to losing our sense of self. You deserve to feel confident in your identity and show up to the world as the person you want to be.
Sometimes when we aren’t able to come as we are, we lose the courage to go out and reach our goals. We know we are capable of success, but we realize there are barriers to reaching this for ourselves. We might start losing trust in ourselves and feeling like we’re isolated in how we approach the world. Whether we over think our experiences, we try to please everyone around us, or we’re afraid of the possible success awaiting us. We want to find ways to lead a more authentic and fulfilling life, but we’re not entirely sure how to get there.
Finding a therapist you truly connect with can be hard. It can be overwhelming searching through hundreds of profiles to try and find someone you think is going to be the right fit and understand you. I believe the therapeutic relationship is the first step toward healing. As we build this relationship, we will also work collaboratively to set goals for therapy and identify what steps feel important in achieving those goals. I strive to create a warm, compassionate, sometimes humorous, and overall empowering space for you to be able to work through your struggles with while celebrating your successes.
